is a consulting, coaching, and teaching practice that helps state and local education agencies and colleges collaboratively improve schools from the inside out.

While many new teachers can assert their readiness, most share uncertainty about their effectiveness in the first year. AWOL Classroom, a residency and induction program, helps more fully engage teacher candidates and novice teachers in effective instructional practice, both in person and online.
